Genuine Connections
Built to Your Preference

In Person | Virtual | Over the Phone

“A goal without a plan is just a wish”

Experience a Process Built
On Communication and Transparency

As a team, our goal is to connect with you to determine what strategies are best for your circumstances. To that end, we believe in building a genuine and mutual connection, which begins with setting relationship expectations for both yourself and our team.

From our initial meeting to ongoing annual reviews, we’ll remain responsive to your needs and any questions that may arise.

Here’s What You Can Expect

Step one: 60 Minutes

Introductory Meeting

Before dedicating a significant amount of time on either side, this complimentary 60-minute call allows us to ensure that your needs align with our expertise. No preparation is necessary—we’ll use this time to get to know each other and determine if creating your financial plan is the right next step.

Step Two: 1 hour

Information Analysis Meeting

We'll request a few basic documents, such as your tax return and account statements, for review and analysis. During this time, we'll also discuss your goals and begin outlining the framework of your financial plan.

Step Three: 1 - 2 Week

Plan Design & Creation

We'll then build a customized financial plan based on your financial information and your responses to our questions asked in previous meetings and responses to our intake questions.

Step Four: 90 minutes

Plan Presentation Meeting

We meet for 90-minutes to present your financial plan and explain, very clearly, what you need to do to reach your financial objectives. We will also outline the steps you need to take to implement our recommendations, in addition to clarifying any outstanding questions or concerns you may have.

Step Five: Timeline determined together.

Implementation

We try to make onboarding a new relationship easy. We’ll gather any additional information we might need, set up a profile for you in our financial planning system, and get to work implementing your plan together. If necessary, we can assist you by coordinating with your other financial professionals (i.e. attorney, CPA or insurance professional) and oversee everything to completion.

Step Six: Ongoing

Continuous Monitoring

Milestones and life events will inevitably occur, provoking an update to your financial plan. To this end, we suggest two dedicated review meetings to see if any changes need to be made.

We do our best work with:

Aged 40+

Those who are focused on improving their financial position with complex financial needs. Those looking for a dedicated team of experts who are committed to the planning process.

$2 Million +

Diligent savers with investments over $2mm (excluding Real Estate)

Nice People

People who value collaboration and specialized advice because retirement and investments are too important. “Investors who want the help of a financial professional instead of facing it alone.”

“This sounds great, but I still have some questions”

What can I expect of you and your team, and what do you expect of me?

We work best with those we are involved in the process and willing to not only receive advice but implement the recommendations. Please click here, to learn more about our expectations.

How often do we meet?

We are always available to address your questions as life events arise, often prompting updates to your financial plan. To ensure your plan stays aligned with your goals, we recommend scheduling two dedicated review meetings each year to assess and implement any necessary changes.

Can you meet virtually and with people in other states?

The choice is yours! We’d love to meet with you in person if you’re in the Boston area. If not, we’re happy to connect via Zoom. Geography isn’t a limitation as long as you’re a legal U.S. resident.

How long does the planning process take?

Typically, we can complete the process within one month; however, the timeline largely depends on the timeliness of client responses and the accuracy of the information submitted.

How does Grandview Partners make money?

There is a one-time minimum payment of $3,000 for our financial planning work. We use a blended cost schedule applied to the balance of any investments held with Grandview Partners. These costs will be reviewed upon request and provided before we begin our planning engagement.

Do you offer hourly or retainer-based project fee options?

No, we do not currently offer retainer-based or hourly fee structures. This approach allows us to focus on delivering the best outcomes for our clients rather than tracking billable hours.

Who is Commonwealth Financial Network?

Commonwealth acts as our RIA/Broker Dealer, providing compliance services and technology platform along with their wonderful team of experts to help us serve our clients. Please click here, to learn more.
